About Us
Popeyes serves bold Louisiana-style chicken made fresh every day. We're hiring hard-working Cooks to join our kitchen team. No experience? No problem. We'll train you.
Responsibilities
• Marinate, bread, fry and package chicken and menu items following Popeyes recipes and standards
• Run the fryers and keep up with order volume during rushes
• Check food quality, hold times and temperatures so everything is fresh and safe
• Follow food safety, handling and sanitation procedures at all times
• Prep ingredients and sides before and during shifts
• Keep your station, fryers, equipment and kitchen clean
• Unload deliveries and stock the walk-in, freezer and dry storage
• Wash dishes and complete opening/closing duties
• Communicate with front counter staff to keep orders accurate and on time
• Help out at other stations when needed
Requirements
• No experience needed, we'll train you (kitchen or fast food experience is an asset)
• Food Handler Certificate is an asset
• Able to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and food safety
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Available evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Reliable and punctual
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
